List the actual contents

Record each named formula, declared size and unit. A cleanser, serum and moisturizer are different items even when sold together. Do not count a cosmetic bag or unconfirmed sample as full-size moisturizer content.

Keep mass and volume apart

You can total compatible volumes of the same relevant item, but grams and mL cannot be added into one meaningful quantity. Different formulas also need their own context even if both are measured in mL.

Value only what you intend to buy

A manufacturer’s stated set value is not necessarily the amount you would otherwise spend. Compare obtainable individual offers and leave an unwanted item’s subjective value explicit rather than treating it as cash savings.
